James the Mime has done countless sketch comedy shows in New York City, including work at Don't Tell Mama, Roses Turn, The Tracadero. He started developing his stand up comedy act in Chicago at various open mics and was an instant hit because it was very different from the comedy that was being done.
As a mime artist, James has studied with The Goldston School for Mimes, with Marcel Marceau and worked with Periwinkle Theatre for Young Audiences. He was a featured performer with Celebrity Cruises and The New Haven Symphony Children’s Program. He was the mime in the award-winning film, Jonathan’s Turn, Ed Levy, dir.
